History

With the great reduction of activity, originated by the pandemic (Covid19) between March and December 2020, Ice Tourism has been restructuring itself in order to face the year 2021 and following. Thus, and aiming to reach new markets and improve customer service, during this phase numerous online meetings were held, coordinated by Ivo Martins (Operations Department) and Frank Coulier ( Sales Department), in order to prepare and optimize the future team and operations.

From October 22 to 28, Ice Tourism organized a FAM trip (trip to familiarize with the destination, Iceland) with the participation of more than 20 American travel agencies and 2 agencies from Spain. This Fam trip fits in the strategy of expansion and dissemination of Iceland in the American continent. It was a success and we hope to start receiving clients from the agencies present in the FAM trip with the resumption of activities in 2021. At the reception for the American agents you can see Egill Arnarson (General Manager), Frank Coulier (Commercial Manager) and Miguel Escobedo (Sales - USA).
